Modern master for steep ice; with Ice Simple Vario pick

Grivel's Tech Machine Vario is an all-around steep ice performer; it'll take you from below-vertical pillars to overhanging lines. A radically bent shaft allows the Machine to easily clear bulges and allows stable hooking on ice. It comes standard with Grivel's Ice Simple Vario pick, and the optional 4.2mm MIX pick (sold separately) can be swapped in for maximum performance when dry-tooling on mixed routes. The pick is easy to remove from the ice, even after the hardest strikes. The Machine's dual-density handle allows for multiple hand positions and rests, and a Cyclops eye on the head of the axe allows for easy racking on ice clippers.
