Waterproof & breathable
Its lightweight, athletic fit is based on ergonomic patterning for good freedom of movement and features proprietary waterproof, breathable Powertex outer fabric to offer high technical functionality and versatility with maximum durability. The version used here gives you an outstanding water column of 20,000 millimeters, particularly where you need it most – at the hood and shoulders, and sleeves, plus 20k breathability (MVTR: 20,000 g/m2/24h) for high moisture transfer capability. In addition, it has fully sealed seams and is treated with a PFC-free DWR finish. This jacket is a Salewa Committed style, manufactured according to additional eco and sustainability standards for a lower impact.

Winter sports-specific details include a zip-gusseted storm visor hood that fits neatly over a helmet. The proprietary direct-access pocket with double-slider zip enables quick access to an avalanche beacon. Moreover, it features water-resistant YKK zips, deep underarm ventilation and a detachable snow skirt. The large additional chest pocket provides ample and secure storage possibilities. The sleeves are finished with Velcro-adjust cuffs that cinch down snugly over your gloves.
