Description
EXOspikes are Kahtoola's go-to traction device that’s ready for anything. Designed for running or hiking adventures on a variety of surfaces, EXOspikes are at home on ice and snow as well as on dry, rocky ground. Twelve ultra-durable tungsten carbide spikes underfoot provide an impressive amount of grip when you need it, and stand up to rocks and other abrasive trail features when you don’t. All in a very lightweight package that can be easily stowed away in a backpack.

Spike Design
Twelve spikes per foot deliver three levels of traction. Long-lasting tungsten carbide spikes offer the initial bite on ice and packed snow, a lightweight aluminum step provides additional grip on uneven surfaces, and TPU lugs dig into slush and loose terrain.
Open TPU Matrix
Fully engages terrain while a streamlined geometry distributes dynamic spike movement, quickly sheds snow, and comfortably conforms to a wide range of footwear. Small cleats keep the TPU matrix firmly against the footwear outsole.
Reinforced Eyelets
Reinforced using durable TPU inserts, the patented eyelet design prevents tearing at each connection point, allowing the elastomer band to be lighter and stronger.
Integrated Toe Bail
Using the same technology and durable TPU as the reinforced eyelets, an integrated toe bail provides added security and prevents the toe from pushing through the front of the elastomer harness.
Raised Heel Tab
Allows for easy pull-back and removal.
Elastomer Harness
A new TPE elastomer harness geometry with eight attachment points provides a secure fit and allows for easy entry. Low profile and highly durable, it remains stretchy in cold temperatures, down to -30°F.
