Ice axe designed for mountaineering and technical performance

The Summit EVO from Petzl is an ice axe designed for technical performance and classic mountaineering. The components are constructed from 7075 aluminum, stainless heat-treated steel, stainless steel, and TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). The waterjet-formed tube offers a comfortable grip compatible with the TRIGREST hand rest and LINKIN leash. The curved shaft provides necessary clearance under head and pick suitable for all types of alpine trips. The hot-forged steel head and pick allow for clipping carabiners, attaching slings, and are durable enough to ensure solid anchoring in hard snow and ice.
