For those times when a rain hat is just the ticket but you don't want to lug a traditional sou'wester, the Equinox Ultralight Pileus does the job. At just over an ounce, the Pileus offers the protection of 1.1 oz silicone impregnated ripstop nylon in an abbreviated sou'wester style that includes a mylar-reinforced brim, and features a gust-proof retainer with cord lock.
