The Fixe Hardware SS 1/2 Hanger + Chain Anchor can be used for top anchor building or as a permanent draw on routes. A carabiner can be placed in the bottom link, creating a lasting fixed draw. A top anchor can be created using a carabiner or screw link and ring.
Not intended for use as a single anchor point when using as a top anchor. Always use in pairs or with another Fixe top anchor unit.
Fixe has been working on improving its anchor range with a highly corrosion resistant material in order to increase safety in all but marine environments. Their 316 material has been specifically developed to help withstand Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC) and minimize Galvanic Corrosion (GC). The material also has improved characteristics compared to common corrosion, mechanical resistance and superficial wear and is far superior to conventional stainless steel products.
