Marmot's proprietary PreCip coating is now more waterproof, more breathable and more comfortable to wear. They've added ceramic particles in the coating for added durability, waterproof reliability, and better Dry Touch comfort. PreCip is still a dual layer coating of microporous/hydrophobic PU with the ceramic particles and a top coat of non-porous/hydrophilic PU for durable waterproofness and reduced condensation.
