  • Hi! Just wanted to confirm if this bag is -20 deg celsius or fahrenheit?
    Also, is this the comfort level or extreme level?

  • Thanks for the question. Yes, all the temperature ratings on our site are in Fahrenheit unless specifically label as Celsius. From the information I can find, the Col Membrain and CWM Membrain are not EN tested (I even checked the bag itself). They would instead be tested at Marmot's own facility. I don't know the reasons behind this, so I can only guess that there is some difficulty in testing such a well insulated bag. As with the rest of Marmot's sleeping bags, the listed temperature rating falls below the "comfort" and closer to the "lower limit" rating, so in this case you can safely expect to be comfortable at -15F. Thanks!
