Pressure mapping, has been used extensively in medical and industrial applications. Therm-A-Rest has utilized digital pressure mapping technology to analyze a range of body types in varying sleep positions. In doing so, they identified common areas of high and low pressure and sought to create a more even and comfortable sleep surface. They achieved this by varying the density of die-cut perforations- more to soften high pressure areas and fewer in low-pressure areas to maintain support where it's needed most. The new Luxury Map mattress takes their most comfortable, self-inflating mattress to a higher level of luxury with advanced pressure mapping technology and innovative die-cut foams. The result is a more even and supportive sleep surface, less tossing and turning to alleviate pressure points, and the priceless experience of a more restful night outdoors.
This product is new from the factory but has a slight cosmetic blemish (e.g. glue spots, misprinted logo, etc.). It is fully functional and warrantied by Therm-a-Rest

Full-density foams in low-pressure areas provide increased support where it's needed most.
