- Suprisingly good bag for the price Review by Abe
-
Price Value Quality I bought this bag at the top of the range, but still feel like I got a bargain. I used this bag on a car trip to the SC highlands and despite it getting down to the high twenties, I stayed fairly warm (with the exception of my face). Had I not opted to sleep in wool socks and silk long johns, I don't the bag alone would have kept me that warm. I would say it is a stretch to declare this a 20 deg bag. With that being said, the two people I went with didn't stay as warm as I did and they had WAY more $$$ bags. They did only sleep under a lean-to shelter and I was in a tent.
