Is the netting, a totally enclosed?
- Thanks for the question. The total weight does vary from tent to tent by about an ounce, and the groundsheets vary between 7-8oz., so you can expect a total weight (tent + groundsheet) of approximately 42 ounces, or 2.6 lbs. The tyvek sheets are pretty heavy for simple floor protection. The Tarptent website suggests a simple sheet of 2mil plastic as a more lightweight alternative.
