Price Value Quality I've had these snowshoes for a year now and they have been excellent for me. Great traction especially for climbing and steep traverses. I have the optional tails and love the versatility of adding them for the deep stuff or when carrying a heavy pack. It does take a little more time to get all the buckles done but once they are on they feel super secure. I tried the lightning axis bindings but they just always felt sloppy. Bottom line, yes they are alot of money but they will do everything you need. Plus if you wait until Feb. or March, BCG usually puts them on sale. I also talked my husband into buying a pair too and he loves them.
