I like. First impressions; quality canvas; more akin to a Cordura variety - thick, durable; and stuff that isn't going to rip tear shred etc. Good deal.
Next impression, the aluminum tubes are thicker gauge than expected; i.e. not going to bend fold dent etc. No wobble or sway when sat upon. That being said; it is a lightweight bench. I'm not going to be climbing on it; or jammin' back and forth to music etc.
I like it. I'm about 6' and 180lbs. Width and height are just right for kicking it at a campsite; or for piling gear on. Snowpeak nailed the aesthetics on this item; and after missing my chance to get one last year+ before it went out of stock; oh yeah; Snowpeak actually made another run of them; and I finally got one.
It is made in China. I miss old school Japan Snowpeak (love my Oval table from 2006, titanium mugs, french press, chopstics, etc...); but this item is good example that China can still make good stuff that will last for decades+.
Seriously looking forward to some mountain time; and being able to sit on it; use it as a shelf, bench, or damn. Like most SP gear; it's also kinda like a piece of art too. :)
