Questions on Box Net Shelter - Double

Sort by Descending
  • From shane at 8/15/12 7:24 AM
    • would this be any good for sandfly / midges?? is 500 holes per sq in sandfly proof would need at least 4 doubles and up to 6 singles but have been burnt (and bitten) before
    • Thank you for the question. The Box Net does use a very fine mesh, so I imagine it would work fine against any sort of flying insects. There is no information on the packaging that mentions what size bugs it will stop, and I haven't personally used the item so I couldn't say with certainty. Since the product qualifies for free shipping, I suggest ordering just one to see how you like it. We have a 60 day return policy, so as long as the item is still in brand new condition we'll issue a refund for the full amount. Thanks!

    • What kind of door is it - zippered?
    • Hey Daniel,

      thank you for your question.

Unfortunately The Sea to Summit Box Net Shelter is incorrectly listed on our website as having one door. The shelter has no doors, with the idea being that you would lift up any of the four walls to enter or exit.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

      Best regards,

    • Is the top mesh too? So I can see the sky? Thank you.
    • Hey Susan,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

The top of the Sea To Summit Box Net Shelter is indeed mesh. Great for stargazing!

Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    • And to be sure, there is skirting but not a complete mesh floor correct? We have bees that come out of the ground here. Thank you.
    • Hey Susan,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

There is skirting on the bottom of the Sea To Summit Box Net Shelter, but it only extends in a couple of inches, and there is not complete floor.

Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

      Best regards,
