- Is this a good kite for kite skiing?
- This kite is a little too small for skiing. I have the Snapshot 1.9, and it has good pull in a strong wind, but they're really just designed for aerobatics and play. There isn't enough power to move you back upwind. I suggest looking at their larger "Tensor" line. The Tensors kites are power kite trainers, and the two largest sizes do have enough pull for kite skiing, but not for flatland jumping. We can special order the Tensor, but you'll have to place your order over the phone (800.953.5499). Thanks!
