Questions & Answers
Thank you for your question.
The Foray jackets TorsoFlo side/pit zips feature a regular (non water-resistant) zipper with a covered flap.
The hand pockets are not entirely pack friendly, as depending on where you prefer to wear your hipbelt, about half the pocket will likely be covered by the belt. However, it does extent up high enough that you should be able to store/access items in the upper half of the pocket while wearing a hipbelt.
The hood features separate adjustment cords and toggles for both the area around the face, and the area around the crown of the head.
