Light and rigid. We use polycarbonate for the shovel scoop. The material is very rigid and absolutely unbreakable. We have provided the Orange II with an oval telescopic shaft. This is ultra-rigid and unbreakable, and with the T-handle and sanded grip allows very economical shoveling. All weight freaks are pleased with the low 600 grams
