Team with Titan titanium spoon for a bare-minimum solo cookware kit
- A good sized pot. I stepped down from a 1L pot.
- NOTE: This pot will NOT fit a 3.5 oz fuel can and the Pocket Rocket stove as stated above! Now I will need to buy a smaller stove - either the MSR Micro Rocket or the Snow Peak Lite Max. Hopefully one of these stoves will fit inside with the 3.5 oz fuel can - if not I'm going to return the Titan Kettle to Back Country Gear!
- Bought one about 6 years ago and have beaten it up on dozens of nights on the trail, it's still in near perfect shape, although like most titanium it did get some rainbow-colored discoloration on the bottom. No big deal. Love that the lid snaps in place so it doesn't fall off when you pour out liquid. Handles do get hot.
Questions & Answers
Thank you for your question.
While the Titan Kettle can certainly be used to cook over an open flame or on coals, extra caution will have to be taken not to burn yourself on the small, non-insulated handles.
