- Not warm, WAY overpriced
These booties are a huge disappointment. The down migrates throughout the bootie leaving cold spots. The sole is wafer thin and provides little or no insulation
This bootie is made for shuffling around inside a warm house. This is NOT a piece of outdoor equipment by any stretch of the imagination
- cozy down booties, generously sized
NOTE: Sizing chart on Western Mountaineering's website is generous; my feet are EUR size 43 and the large booties are way too spacious, so will onsell. Will pick up the medium version another time.
They look very well made and feel very warm, so would recommend them. The'll be great hut booties for alpine huts!
One large bootie measured at 55g on my scales.
Price seems expensive compared to Western Mountaineering's sleeping bags?
