Life is hectic. We work ridiculously long hours. We’re on-line. We’re always just a cellular phone call away from the office. Oh, and the kids have to go to soccer. Opportunities for those 10 day trips into the backcountry are fewer and farther between. In today’s world, we cram our outdoor adventures into fast, light, overnight and day trips. It’s these short “escapes” that influenced the creation and guided the design of Gregory's Escape Series packs.

Gregory starts with lightweight, stress resistant fabrics for our ergonomic bag designs. Then they added a supportive, yet very flexible, internal frame with action cutouts that allow you to ski, climb or scramble without having the pack throw you off balance. Load transfer tabs on the waistbelt allow the weight to be carried comfortably on your hips -technology found on no other packs of this size. Next they added their revolutionary Auto•Cant shoulder harness - the ultimate fit system that also provides enhanced freedom of movement. A plush nylon knit covers our super-soft EVA foam for all-day comfort and support.

Gregory also added a variety of functional technical features like Kitchen Sink™ oversized mesh pockets, ski tail stabilizers, climbing gear racking loops, and top compression straps. Most of these packs also feature a foam-stiffened compression pocket on the front - great for stashing a variety of gear, from climbing equipment to wet clothes, tents to shovels. We like to use the expression “lighter, tighter, righter” to describe the Escape Series. We think you’ll agree that these packs are all three.
