While many of us dream about that big expedition to the greater ranges, many of our best adventures turn out to be long backcountry trips closer to home.  Gregory's Adventure Series packs are perfect for those less demanding trips where you don't need all of the technical features found in expedition packs.  These packs offer the same quality and sophistication found in the Professional Series, with a few less features, and a substantial cost savings.  They're perfect for trekking, off-trail hiking, moderate mountaineering and backcountry ski touring.

The Active Suspension System is composed of two 2024-T4 aluminum stays built into a FOAM-X framesheet, and mated to Gregory's Adjust A Cant waistbelt panel.  This highly efficient frame gives solid load support with excellent freedom of movement.  The revolutionary Auto Cant feature allows the shoulder harness to automatically settle into the correct position depending on your neck width and shoulder slope.  Adventure Series packs also feature Flo Form II waistebelts and shoulder harnesses, which are molded and padded to fit your body comfortably.

All Adventure Series packs are constructed of high tenacity 420 denier Ripstorm pack cloth.  The 500 denier Cordura nylon sleeping bag compartment is lined with pack cloth for extra protection.  You'll also find beefy #10 YKK zippers, a top pocket that converts to a fanny pack, built-in water bottle holsters and quick-release sleeping pad straps.  If you take your recreation seriously, but don't have the time for those monster trips, check out the Adventure Series.
