  • Thanks for the question. This pack is not waterproof, but it is water resistant. The entire pack is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellant), but it will only stand up to light rain. Heavier rain or all day sprinkles will eventually work their way into the fabric. You can use almost any hydration system with this pack. The maximum reservoir volume is approximately two liters. I believe the Platypus Hoser is our least expensive and most popular hydration system.
