Your dog’s paws are as vulnerable to harsh terrain as your bare feet. Pavement in the summer heat can be like walking on hot coals. In the winter months, snow, ice, and salt are just as harmful and as uncomfortable for your pet. On city streets, you should be cautious of broken glass and other forms of urban debris finding their way into your dog’s paws. While hiking, jagged rocks and gravel can inflict harm, especially with repetitive contact. Paw waxes are not preventative solutions for your pet’s paw needs. Only dog clogs or booties can offer true pawtection.
