Questions on Down Booties

- The description says this is "men's and unisex". I have a women's shoe size 7.5. How does this translate into your "xtra small, small, medium,etc." sizing?

- I'm a woman who wears about a size 9. Is that a large or extra large? I'd rather they be roomy so I can wear them with thick socks.
- Thank you for the question. These booties already run a little on the large side, and your women's size 9 puts you squarely in a size Medium. I am confident the Medium size will still accommodate your thickest pair of socks! I measured the sole of the size Medium, and it's 11 1/2 inches in length. Thanks!

- How thick is the sole of the bootie?
- Thanks for the question. These booties have an internal cushion and a non-slip Toughtek outer sole coating material. Without compression from standing in the booties, the cushion is slightly over 3/4" thick.

Western Mountaineering's lightweight compressible down booties will provide all the warmth and comfort to keep you smiling long after the temperatures drop. Down booties are made for the outdoors, but they are also perfect for anyone with poor circulation or cold feet and it is not surprising that many people wear them at home.

These booties are made in USA with high fill power European goose down inside a tightly woven nylon outer shell fabric. The nylon shell is treated with a DWR to protect the insulation from external moisture and the rand is made of a durable coated nylon fabric. An elastic heel band positioned inside the booties helps lock in the heat and provide lateral stability for walking. The bottom of the booties feature a non-slip Toughtek material to keep you from slipping.
