The Exped Lightning 60 features a single, aluminum, vertically-oriented bar/stay serving as the frame. It is actually located externally, and can be seen in the pictures of the bag displaying the back, as the piece in the center of the bag that the shoulder harness attaches to. This bar Ts at both its top and bottom to provide stability and support.
I'm not sure what you mean by pictures showing those feature's angle. Could you clarify?
