• From can this sling be configured into a french bowline at 11/7/12 8:36 AM
  • I use a french bowline knot to move my invalid wife from and to her chair. But the rope is not comfortable. Would this sling be more comfortable?
  • Thank you for the question. This sling can certainly be tied into a bowline, but it's also quite thin (about 1/4"). I'm afraid the sling would be more uncomfortable than rope. The best option that we carry would be 1" Nylon Webbing:

    The webbing is incredibly strong, doesn't stretch, and it has a smooth flat surface. I think it would be more comfortable than plain rope, but it's slightly more difficult to tie into knots. We sell it by the foot. Thanks!
