Description
An ideal choice for climbers who prefer the reduced weight and easy handling of an extremely technical tool that retains all the characteristics of a Grivel ice axe. Only 565 grams! Hot forged head in Chromolly Steel: no compromise over quality. Available with shovel or hammer. The shaft has a double bend at different angles increasing the head’s opening and helping the wrist when in traction. Very efficient hand support with a little point in Tungsten Carbide for safety. The Trigger can be fitted to distribute weight onto all fingers.

Great design, great tool Review by Karl

I chose this tool over f.ex. the Quark, partly because of it's double bent shaft, which seemed really cool to me. It has a great swing and a confident feel. The weight is pretty similar to other tools in its class.
Great pick, very trustworthy purchase on ice. Not sure what the idea with that spring-looking rubber thing is, I'm considering removing it.
The only problem is changing out the pick when the time comes, it seems like a bit more hassle than comparable tools by Petzl or BD, although not very difficult. I've read some reviews about the screws being bad.

Overall great tool.
