- Where are these helmets manufactured?
  Can they be used for bicycling?
- Thanks for the question. These helmets are made in France. The Petzl Elios is for rock climbing only, and is designed for impacts from above, not for impacts from the front, back or sides like with a cycling helmet. There are a (very) few helmets that double for climbing and cycling, but the only one we carry is for children (Petzl Picchu). Thanks!

This low profile helmet is easy to adjust, comfortable and well-ventilated. The improved dial adjustment system is quick and easy to use, even when wearing the helmet. Using a combination of shell and foam technology, it's perfect for rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, canyoning and caving.

I have had this helmet for a few years. The helmet is really comfortable and has a wide adjustment range. I have a big head and I can still wear the helmet with a hat underneath and it sits low enough to protect my head and forehead. It comes in 2 sizes and each size has an adjustable band to get the fit just right no matter what the size/shape of your head.

It also has clips to hold your headlamp band or whatever else you want to put on (gopro, etc)

This thing is actually so comfortable and light that I have forgotten I had it on before until my wife pointed it out in the car halfway home from a day of climbing.

While I don't consider price as the most important factor when it comes to protecting your life, it doesn't hurt that a quality piece of gear is reasonably priced.
