The lightweight super tiny Crevasse Rescue Pulley is designed especially as an alpine emergency device. This just-in-case pulley provides solid strength and efficiency in 2-to-1 C-systems, and has the required prusik minding capability for use in 3-to-1 Z-systems (which means it makes it easier to haul up heavy stuff without popping a vein, or to lower heavy stuff without dropping it!). A smooth running nylon sheave runs on a zinc coated axle, and the contrasting aluminum sideplates rotate for easy rope insertion and removal. Easy to use, easy to carry - it's a palm-sized mountaineering partner!!
