Exceptionally light, with room for two plus some gear. Extended front beak provides privacy, additional sheltered space and excellent storm protection. The optional extended sewn-in flooring clips up to tent corners when needed to form "cake pan" enclosure. Tarptent recommends a trekking pole or other stiff pole for the front pole.

If you intend to use the Squall 2 without trekking poles, it is recommended that you purchase two lightweight (2oz/56g) front poles for maximum wind performance.
