Integral is taking the bivy shelter to a new level. The eVent version of the Unishelter Exp integrates light innovative design features such as a wire stiffened eyebrow peak, a rear-facing bugscreen covered tunnel vent, an 80 in. waterproof zipper, an external 30 in. zippered bugscreen panel and a lightweight coated nylon floor. The pre-curved Easton hoop pole around the head is easy to set up and offers plenty of head and shoulder space. Even with all these new features Integral still was able to keep the weight under 2 lbs. How'd they do it? With the new eVent Storm 3L fabric of course. This fabric is a 3.1 oz. triple grid ripstop waterproof breathable fabric with tricoat backing, which is lighter and more breathable than traditional ePTFE laminate. eVent uses Direct Venting and a proprietary and patented Dry System technology allowing perspiration to dissipate and vent before it saturates the fabric.
