The Hilleberg Nallo 2 GT offers all the functionality of the Nallo 2 with a huge front vestiblue offering all weather protection for your gear or four legged companion. Nallo GT is ideal for a very wide variety of activities during all seasons; a real allrounder for those weight-concious people wanting to be right there on the spot when trout are moving up-river, birdwatchers during migration season, nature photographers, backcountry skiers etc.
The Nallo 2 GT has been updated this year to make a great tent even better. Responding to concerns about condensation build-up inside the tent, Hilleberg added features to provide greater ventilation. Now you can roll up the outer at the foot end, which, along with a fabric-backed no-see-um mesh vent on the back wall, affords more air flow and better condensation control. There is also now a fabric backed no-see-um mesh panel at the back of the inner tent.
Two poles, adjustable pole holders and peg loops make it easy to set up and take down. The Nallo GT requires a minimum of four pegs for pitching. The inner tent is linked to the outer for easier handling (simultaneous set-up) and comfort (the inner is always protected from the rain)! One can easily detach part of the inner tent to enlarge the vestibule. The outer tent on its own provides a great shelter on lunchbreaks and the inner can very easily be used separately as well in warmer conditions. All you need for this are four separate pole holders (not included).
The Nallo inner tent entrance is almost circular. The zipper has four runners and opens from the top and from the bottom. The Nallo GT has a large side entrance in the vestibule which can be opened from the top or the bottom. The roomy vestibule offers a lot of space for all kinds of gear and makes sure that nobody accidentally sits on that bottle of Irish whisky. The vestibule takes two or three backpacks while still providing room for the preparation of food.
In order to keep condensation levels as low as possible, the Nallo's vestibule features a well covered vent. It is part of the entry side panel and can be operated from the inside and the outside. The inner tent entrance is fully backed by no-see-um mesh. The vestibule now boasts 2 entrances, one on each side. You can leave one or both doors open to help with airflow. With lots of options now, condensation will not be as much of a problem as it may have been in the past.
The Kerlon 1200 fabric in the Nallo is of the highest Hilleberg quality, securing top level performance and longevity. Kerlon 1200 has a tear strength of 26 lbs! A tear strength that is four times higher than ordinary tents!
Tent includes 17 stakes, stuffbag, pole bag, peg bag, guy lines, line runners, spare pole section, pole repair sleeve, and instructions.
