The Hilleberg Nallo 2 is the tent of choice when the lowest weight with the highest quality matters. The Nallo is suitable for hill walking year round and an excellent choice for overland travellers (AT/PCT) for whom low weight and small packed size is imperative. Ideal for almost all possible trips in all seasons of the year, the Nallo 2 is a true allrounder for the weight concious! The Nallo 2 has been updated this year to make a great tent even better. Responding to concerns about condensation build-up inside the tent, Hilleberg added features to provide greater ventilation. Now you can roll up the outer at the foot end, which, along with a fabric-backed no-see-um mesh vent on the back wall, affords more air flow and better condensation control. There is also now a fabric backed no-see-um mesh panel at the back of the inner tent. Two poles, adjustable pole holders and peg loops make it easy to set up and take down. The Nallo requires a minimum of four pegs for pitching. The inner tent is linked to the outer for easier handling (simultaneous set-up) and comfort (the inner is always protected from the rain)! One can easily detach part of the inner tent to enlarge the vestibule. The outer tent on its own provides a great shelter on lunchbreaks and the inner can very easily be used separately as well in warmer conditions. All you need for this are four separate pole holders (not included). The Nallo inner tent entrance is almost circular. The zipper has four runners and opens from the top and from the bottom. If the weather demands it, the side panels of the vestibule can be used as entrances too. The vestibule takes two or three backpacks or one or two backpacks while still providing room for the preparation of food. In order to keep condensation levels as low as possible, the Nallo's vestibule features a well covered vent. It is part of the center panel and can be operated from the inside and the outside. The inner tent entrance is fully backed by no-see-um mesh. With the entrance and the inner fully open you will enjoy lying in your sleeping bag, soaking in the views! Also, for 2006, the Nallo received a new, more efficient vent on the back end. The Kerlon 1200 fabric in the Nallo is of the highest Hilleberg quality, securing top level performance and longevity. Kerlon 1200 has a tear strength of 26 lbs! A tear strength that is four times higher than ordinary tents! Tent includes 13 stakes, stuffbag, pole bag, peg bag, guy lines, line runners, spare pole section, pole repair sleeve, and instructions. |
