The Explorer is the missing link between the 9 ft. Expedition / Backpacker models and the hugh 11 ft. long Safari models. These two new models provide a new dimension in comfort without the weight penalty of the bigger Safari. These are the hammmocks for those who are over 6’ tall or more than 250 lbs. There is still space to bring a lightweight pack inside. The Deluxe A-sym has a large silicone nylon fly and 2200 lb. test ropes. The additional space can also be used to store a lightweight pack at the head end of the hammock. The new A-sym shape provides more space and comfort when resting on the diagonal.
