The Meridian Ki is a top loader with a floating lid/fanny pack and a single vertical zipper front access panel. It was specifically designed to withstand some serious mileage. The pack utilized the newly released RiRi water resistant tooth zipper for the fanny pack lid and the front access panel because they offer superior durability and water resistance to any other zipper that Granite Gear could find. Reflective material on the daisy chains and on the shoulder straps insure you will be seen if you are hiking on the road at night, as well as making it easier to locate your pack in the dark.
