This manually locking large pear-shaped William carabiner is useful for attaching multiple slings, ropes, or pieces of gear to an anchor. The wide gate opening allows the clipping of rungs or bars of up to 25 mm in diameter. The William's generous size also allows use with an Italian (Munter) hitch on single or double ropes.
