This is Simonds lightest quickdraw and uses two forged wire gate Rocky biners. Thanks to their generous dimensions, these ultra-lightweight carabiners can be used in all sorts of situations. Their slimline profile means they can be used with any kind of protection and for clipping in even the most awkward places (eg. corners). As well as enjoying particularly long life spans, wire gates use the effect of inertia to limit the risk of carabiners opening unexpectedly.
