CAMP wanted to design an easy to use ice axe that performed to the highest expectations, and with the Awax they have accomplished just that. It is very light (under 600 grams) due to the balance bwtween the head and the handle, the sharpness of its forged blades and the new tooth profile. Without the leash, the Axax has been designed to allow the least amount of energy to be used. With the leash, a single movement is enough to release the hand from the leash.
