The year round all purpose bivy. The South Col is more weathertight than the Salathe because it has less zippers and less bug screen, but with less ventilation. Left or right side zippered access with velcro backup. Full Tegraltex top and foot section. Sheltered horizontal face level opening with zippered closure and zippered layer of no-see-um netting for better venting in foul weather. 22" side zipper makes entry easier, velcroed weather flaps are great for venting or allowing you to stay roped up on a big wall. A replaceable wire stiffener in the hood brim encourages air flow and keeps fabric off your face. |
