The Rain Shadow is made of a compressible and light, 2.5-layer tear-resistant nylon fabric, with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish and a raised internal diffusion pattern that slides easily over layers and channels moisture away from skin. With pit zips and a roll-down, 2-way-adjustable hood that's helmet-compatible. Sealed seams draw a hard line between you and the wet weather. Hook-and-loop wrist closures, lightweight water-resistant zippers and internal and external pocketing add to the finer points. Allows for thicker underlayers.
