Expedition Crocodiles® feature an increased circumference that provides room for plastic boots and insulated pants. A hook and loop Cinch-Strap makes it possible to adjust this gaiter with mittens on, an important feature for cold-weather mountaineering. The outside of the leg section consists of Taslan Gore-Tex®, while the inner leg section is reinforced with 1000D Cordura®. The reinforced hook and loop front closure is sewn with double-needle stitching for a durable connection. A shear tab at the base of the gaiter prevents the closure from separating. The replaceable urethane coated nylon instep strap can be changed in the field with ease.
