Nothing like those beautiful sunsets in the wilderness. Unfortunately, they always seem to come about 3 miles to early. Two choices; set up camp now and wake up feeling like you slept on a bed of rocks (because you did) or put the VorTec on and continue on to your favorite site with the cold creek and a soft bed of needles. (The VorTec left the competition in the dark in a test of lamps in the August 1998 Issue of Backpacker). The VorTec comes with a powerful halogen bulb and two reflector plates for a focused beam and a wide-angle flood light. Adjustable harness system.
