An upgrade from POE's original 4 season self inflating sleeping pads, the AO-Aero Mtn pads utilize Aerogel insulation to further insulate you from the elements. Aerogel is a super insulator that they've integrated between the existing horizontal drill tubes to further inhibit heat transfer through the foam of the pad. The air-core tubes keep you on the pad while complementing the weight shaving mummy shape. Cored foam and Aerogel insulation in the foot provide extra insulation and with two lengths to choose from, this pad is truly designed for a woman with science to back up the design.
