Questions on Spare Carbide FlexTip

- Lost the piece which goes on silver end.what is it??Also how do I tighten the top part as the word "max"is appearing and the shaft continues to slip down???
thank you - Thanks for the question. I'm not sure which poles you have, but if I understand correctly it sounds like you've lost the flex tip. The flex tip is the metal tipped, hard plastic piece that is pressed firmly on the pole and not removed until replacement is necessary. The other possibility is that you lost the rubber tip, which is just a small piece of rubber that fits over the flex tip.
With regards to tightening the pole, you may need to pull that section out and adjust the simple mechanism inside (a Phillips screwdriver is all you will need). Again, I'm not sure which poles you have, but you can probably go to the manufacturer's website for instructions on adjustments. You can also email me more specifics and I'll do what I can to help (gabe@bcgear.com). Thanks! - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No

Quick Overview
Spare Tips for your poles.- Description
-
The flexible synthetic tips can flex up to 30 degrees without damaging the pole shaft. Beyond that point the tip will break off to save the lower shaft from damage. The FlexTip may be changed easily if broken or worn by simply knocking it off the shaft with a quick snap, apply the new tip and tap down to secure. The use of carbide in the steel jacket reaches a degree of hardness close to that of a diamond thus giving you a solid plant in all conditions.
