Foot and head sections boxed for extra room
- Plenty of room for a pack and moveability
I bought the 'long', and there's more than enough room for my 6'3" long body and 20" shoulder width. I can even fit my 90L pack up above my head for a pillow and still fit my boots below me to dry out at night.
The built-in wire is a plus, since you don't have to worry about losing or breaking any additional poles.
The only downside is floor doesn't feel nearly as durable/thick as the OutdoorResearch Advanced Bivy which feels much more like a 'bathtub' floor lining. Yet, this hasn't been an issue since the floor has still be waterproof enough to sleep on snow without any residual water buildup (beside respiratory condensation).
It's definitely a worthwhile, high quality, 4-season bivy.
