- Great bag!
Great bag. Have used it for weeks on end in the late fall, October-November, down to about 20F. Have never been cold. Bag is comfortable (I'm 5'10"). Most of the time I also use a Western Mountaineering sleep sack that fits in my hand when it's stuffed in its pouch. Properly insulated underneath, this is a comfortable, warm bag.
I can't really comment on the length of time that it takes to puff back after it's packed up since I've only compressed it when packing it to save space in the truck. I haven't yet used it for backpacking, but it does compact nicely. (I store it totally fluffed up in its large storage sack, not the stuff sack.)
I highly recommend this bag.
- great versatile bag
I have several high quality bags. This Sycamore is a favorite as
it is lightweight and built excellent. Can close up like a warm
sleeping bag or fully open like a quilt. Best of both designs.
