  • In the catalog it described the shade as compressible. So, to keep it's shape after it's been compressed is there something to help it retain it's shape? Wires, a stiffener? Something to help it stand up? Looks like a cool usable object but would like to know before I order it. Thanks
  • Thank you for the question. The top of the lantern shade is made from a somewhat stiff reflective material that can fold flat for storage, but pops into an inverted cone shape (in a somewhat origami like fashion) when you press it down. This keeps the top circular, and the fabric seams on the side walls are stiff enough to support the shape easily. It's a neat product. Thanks!
