- Quick and easy way to fill up on water in the backcountry Review by ashredflash

Price Value Quality I absolutely love being able to drink any water source I encounter while backcountry hiking. Water tastes great from rapidly moving rivers or streams. Murky ponds will still taste a little funky, but at least I know the water is safe to drink! The floaty piece keeps the input end from resting in the mud or algae at the bottom of the water and all the hoses are easily detachable. The output end fits with both large and small mouth nalgene bottles. Everything packs up nicely inside the carrying case. The ziplock bag for storing the clean hose pieces fell apart after a few days use, so just grab one of your own before heading out if you're worried about the output end getting contaminated. Overall, I am super happy with this product!
