  • Is this pack waterproof? If its NOT waterproof do you have any packs that are waterproof because I plan on using it in all weather conditions, and use it for storage while I go motorcycle camping?
  • Thanks for the question. No, this pack is not waterproof. It is treated with a DWR (durable water repellent), so it will repel light mist or a quick rain, but is not able to resist extended rain. Our waterproof packs like the 'Arc'Teryx Arrakis 65' are more than twice the price of the Farpoint, so probably not the best alternative. It might be more cost effective to buy a rain cover for hiking, and a pack liner for storage. Typically folks use the pack liner on the inside, but we carry one from Sea to Summit that is fully waterproof, and at 90L, it could fit the entire Farpoint 70 inside for total protection. The pack liner is far smaller and lighter than a regular drybag, but just as effective for this application.
