It's that extra level of protection to keep you from getting wet inside the tent when it's wet outside. Price Value Quality Used it for a few things, never disappointed. Great for tent repairs, shoe repairs, preemptive beefing up of problem areas in footwear...ETC.

Price Value Quality I am a hiker and hiked the Appalachian Trail. I begun to have problems with my foot gear. I had bought a cheap pair of boots. Big mistake... They begun to come apart after 300 to 500 miles on the trail. The tip of the boot and along the side were separating from the boot. I tried a few things ... Nothing seem to work for very long. I came across seam-grip in one of the shops alone the trail and thought well i will give it a try . I seal up the boot toe and alone the side , where it was separating and then duct taped around the boot. That morning I removed the tape. Wo-lar . The repair held for many more miles. In fact the repair never failed, but the boots did. Wonderful stuff.
